Our Vision

At Calvary Chapel, we believe it is important that our children are taught about God and the Bible at their own level. The Children’s Ministry fulfills that need by providing worship, puppet shows, teaching, crafts, and games for all children through 5th grade at all services.  We need many volunteers to make this important ministry successful.

God’s Rods Puppet Ministry is an outreach of the Children’s Ministry of Calvary Chapel – Sun City. We believe that God has ordained parents to be the primary teacher of their children. So, to help parents out with this responsibility, we provide them with a tool by presenting live puppet shows teaching biblical lessons with a fun and entertaining twist. As we like to say, “Silly puppets with a serious mission”.

Upcoming Events

  • Sunday morning classes meet at 9am and 11am. We are currently meeting in the youth building as the children’s building is being remodeled.
  • Join us on Wednesday evenings at 7pm. We are currently meeting in the coffee shop while the Children’s building is being remodeled.
